History For more than a millennium Blue and White ceramics have dominated almost all cultures from East to West. In the 150 years of the Cape being a Dutch colony almost all the ceramics used here was decorated in cobalt blue, but nothing was ever produced locally. This inspired us to start a range of ceramics depicting South African, and mainly Cape Flora, Landscapes and Vernacular Architecture. They are all hand-painted and our inspiration was unashamedly Dutch Delftware, but they have acquired a unique style and clients have affectionately started calling them “Cape Delft”
Products Items range from tiny thimbles, jugs, mugs, vases and plates to giant serving bowls and platters.
